Creator outreach for indie game developers
Paste your Steam page link. See who covers games like yours.
CreatorScout finds the YouTube and Twitch creators (1k–500k followers) already covering games like yours — pulled live from the official YouTube and Twitch APIs. No scraped databases, no stale contact lists. Built by a solo indie dev for their own launch. Your first search needs no signup.

Search to see matching creators
Paste your Steam page link above. We read your game's own Steam tags, show you the benchmark games we'll search, and find creators with 1k-500k followers who verifiably covered them.
The CreatorScout toolkit
Six tools. One launch pipeline.
Everything from first search to “Covered” — in one place, no spreadsheet required.
Creator Search
Filter YouTube and Twitch creators by follower range (1k–500k), language, and how recently they covered a game like yours. Live data, ranked by relevance.
Steam Link Analyzer
Paste your store page URL. We read your genres from Steam and search the creators covering your genre's benchmark games — it works even before you launch.
Outreach CRM
Track every creator from Not Contacted to Covered. Masked Steam keys, per-creator notes, a full outreach timeline, and CSV export when you need it elsewhere.
Pitch Writer
ProDraft outreach that references the creator's actual recent videos, so your email doesn't read like a template. You edit and send — nothing is ever auto-sent.
Coverage Reports
A shareable, link-only snapshot of who covers any Steam game — send it to a teammate or publisher without giving them a login.
Genre Directories
Curated creator directories for six indie genres — roguelike, metroidvania, cozy, RPG & narrative, strategy, and horror & survival.
Why bother with creator outreach?
Because visibility is the hard part.
Your store page can't market itself
Steam surfaces games that already have momentum. For most indies, that first momentum comes from creators: one honest video from someone whose audience already likes your genre puts your game in front of exactly the people who wishlist it.
Keys are your cheapest marketing
A Steam key costs you nothing to send. The real cost is time — finding creators who actually cover games like yours, and following up without losing track. That's the part worth systematizing; the keys themselves are free.
Outreach compounds across launches
A creator who covered your first game is the warmest possible lead for your second. Keep the relationship — who replied, what they covered, what they liked — and every launch starts further ahead than the last.

How matching works
No magic, no invented numbers.
We pull public data from the YouTube Data API and Twitch Helix, then rank creators by how closely their recent titles match your game, their engagement, and how recently they were active. Twitch follower counts are estimated from live viewers, so we label them as estimates and show “not available” when we genuinely don't know.
Data sources
These are the official public APIs we read from. CreatorScout is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with YouTube, Twitch, or Valve.
Why I built this
Made by someone who needed it
I got tired of expensive PR databases and chasing creators through messy spreadsheets, so I built the tool I wished I had for my own launch. A clean, honest way to find creators who actually play and love niche titles.

How to write a cold email to a game streamer
The mechanics of a cold email that a game streamer actually replies to: subject-line structure, the reference technique, what not to say, which channel to use by creator tier, and how often to follow up.
